Hi! I’m Courtney,

Here I am just living the dream on a catamaran with a beer in my hand, near Isla Mujeres.

I'm Courtney - the founder of Fun in the Sun Travel Planning. I started this company for many reasons.
One - I have a weird capacity to become hyperfocused on all details pertaining to travel.
Two - Nothing satisfies me more than spending days analyzing every possible excursion/resort/trip element to confirm that it is in fact, THE best option.
And three - I get immense joy out of bringing people together.

That and after planning my own destination wedding and too many group trips to count, I realized this sh*t ain’t easy but holy hats, am I good at it. And not only am I good at it, I REALLY enjoy it.

While I can source any and all travel, planning group trips, weddings, birthdays, family reunions and wellness retreats is my jam. I’m happy to find everything from flights and hotels to private chefs, photographers, activities and more.

Why do I love planning these trips? It’s simple – I love going on them!  There’s something so special about having new experiences and visiting new places with people you love, and also with people you’ve just met. There’s nothing better.
